The fact that women and minority groups are underrepresented in STEM fields is well known, with both math and computer science having some of the worst numbers.  The recent movie "Hidden Figures" has drawn the focus to this problem, as well as highlighting the fact that despite inequities, women and minorities have played a strong role in these fields.  In this talk, we'll see more recent data on demographics in mathematics and computer science, as well as discussing what each of us can do to help make our school or work environments more inclusive.
