Abstract. I will give an introduction to the field of arithmetic dynamics focusing on the problems most closely related to my work.  The level will be introductory.  My current NSF grant supports developing dynamical systems functionality in the computer algebra system Sage.  Consequently, I will discuss the current state of the project and the Sage development model.  Graduate students interested in a blend of computational problems in algebra, number theory, and dynamical systems are encourage to attend.
