In Lie Theory, classifying certain classes of group representations is a common goal. We are trying to classify all irreducible unitary representations of a certain infinite family of semi-direct products built up from a nilpotent group and a rotation group. We will begin by outlining our overall plan and direction for this project, including classifying the wavelet representations of the product. Then we will showcase some of the work that has already been completed by using the examples n=3 and n=5 to convey the method behind the general results.
