Question:  When is a homology class represented by a submanifold?

Seth Arnold will define ways to combine homology and cohomology:

  1. snake lemma and Bockstein sequence
  2. universal coefficient sequence
  3. Eilenberg--Zilber chain homotopy equivalence
  4. cross and slant product
  5. Alexander–Whitney diagonal approximation
  6. cup and cap product
  7. Poincaré duality for closed manifolds
For continuity, here is a link to the previous talk.
