Extra Materials and Hosting

The easiest way to get started is to simply use the online book hosted at SLU.

However, I am always nervous about having my course depend on someone else keeping their site up, as a service.
Remedies will be listed in order of complexity.

Mirror sites are available at:
Runestone: https://runestone.academy/ns/books/published/ExcelCalculus/ExcelCalculus.html and
The University of Lethbridge: https://opentext.uleth.ca/ExcelCalculus/ExcelCalculus.html

If you want to set up your own mirror you can download a compressed version of the website and set up your own mirror.
(Please let me know if you do that are willing to let others use your mirror.)

The text assumes that students have access to the internet and are using the text online.  However you may have students who have limited internet access.  They may only be able to use the internet on campus.
You can obtain a pdf version of the text.
The text also has links to video files on YouTube and Excel worksheets,
You can download a compressed collections of the Excel worksheets.

One of the features of an open text is that you are allowed to decide that my work is a good starting point or what you really want.  The files for the text are available at Github. (https://github.com/maymk/ExcelCalculus)  Hopefully to will contribute back to the project.  However you may decide to create a fork in the project and use your own version.

I have created WeBWorK problems for the text.  A compressed collection of questions is available on request.

On request from instructors I am also willing to provide a collection teaching materials.  (Old tests, quizzes, semester calendars, and such.)

If you are using the material, please stay in touch.
