Research interests:

Algebraic combinatorics, combinatorial aspects of algebraic geometry and representation theory.

Biography:

I was born and raised in Adana, Turkey. I received both my bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Mathematics at Dokuz Eylul University in Izmir, Turkey. After graduation, I moved to the States to receive my Ph.D. in Mathematics at Tulane University under the advisement of Professor Mahir Bilen Can. My first academic position was at Palm Beach State College, which I held from 2018-2021. I then moved to Saint Louis University and joined the Department of Mathematics and Statistics as an assistant professor in the Fall of 2021.
